Long ago people
did not need money. They got what they needed from their
environment. People needed only food, clothes, tools, and a place
to live. But there were times when they wanted something that someone else
had. Today, when you see something you want, you can offer to buy it.
But before money, the best way to get things was to
trade. Trading is a way of exchanging something
that you have for something that you want.
