1. Rankle (somebody)

 

某件事或某句话使人在很长一段时间里生气、不开心，英文可以用rankle表示。

 

例：The joke about her family rankled her.

那个关于她家里的玩笑让她心里很不舒服。

 

2. Disturbed

 

Disturb本有“打扰”、“弄乱”的意思，disturbed则形容心情焦虑不快。

 

例：I was deeply disturbed and depressed by the news.

3. Brood (over/on/about something)

 

烦心的事儿越想越纠结，心情自然好不起来，表示“为某事计较或郁闷”英文可以用这个短语。

Sick at heart不是心脏有病，而是指心里难受，意指“伤感”。

Dump有“废弃物”、“垃圾”的意思，down in the dumps则指“情绪低落”、“心情跌入低谷”。
