EXERCISES: Making compound sentences
You can join short sentences together to make longer 'compound' sentences by using special words called conjunctions.
E.g: "I hate beef." is a simple sentence
"I like chicken." is a simple sentence
"I hate beef but I like chicken." is a compound sentence, using the conjunction "but" to join the two sentences together.

a. three days ago.
