Miss China went shopping on December 24 and went home with hands full. She stayed up until midnight and sent messages to friends saying “merry Christmas".
That’s how many Chinese spend their Christmas, I can almost hear Charlie Brown’s voice echoing��commercial��What’s a real Christmas��For westerners��it’s a holy day��a day for the family��a day of love. Though it is getting commercial��there’s no reason for them not to celebrate it.
What about Chinese? Most of us are not Christian��then why we celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ? For Shopping��Sellers know people are irrational facing the seductive Christmas discount. Exchanging cards and gifts��We have many traditional festivals to do this. Kissing under the mistletoe? Thankfully��not many Chinese do this.
I don’t want celebrate Christmas��but I have to. I’ve just invited by friends to Christmas dinner. Looking at the eyeful decorations, what can I do? Another Miss China’s Christmas!
